Ayurveda Medicines for Menstrual Pains

Menstrual cramps are sharp pains in a woman`s lower abdomen that occur when her menstrual period begins and may continue for 2-3 days. Symptoms can range in severity from mild annoyance to severe pain that interferes with normal activities. Menstrual cramps are the leading cause of absenteeism in women younger than 30 years.

Rajahpravarthanivati: Cures amenorrhoea and dysmennorrohoea (suppression of menses) distressing pains during menses and other uterine disorders.
Dosage: One pill twice a day with water. To be used with Asokarista (or) as directed by the physician.

FEM FREE (F.F.): Cures endometriosis (helps to regularise the menstrual disorders).
Dosage: Advised to use during menses time only for not less than 6, or 7 months continuously for sustained result. One tablet thrice a day with water.
